LionFire is the shamanic name of David R. Leonard. David performs the LionFire "katchina" persona in dances and ceremonies (see David's Bio).

David and Mary Leonard (see Mary's Bio) live in Cortez, Colorado, near the ancient Anasazi site of Hovenweep Canyon. For several years, they administered Hovenweep, conducting tours and holding ceremonies and workshops at this richest of all Native American archeological sites.

Today — as we go toward 2012 and the end of the Mayan Calendar — David and Mary are working with many others to bring the Mayan consciousness back into our world. With their study, experience, and deep understanding of Mayan culture and civilization, both ancient and modern, David and Mary seek to empower the Mayan people in sharing with us the precious gifts of the Mayan spiritual knowledge and awareness.

In addition, David and Mary share with all of us the fruits of their lifelong pursuit of ancient cultures and spiritual understanding — through their art and poetry, and through the artifacts that they have collected over the decades, some of which is available for purchase.
